Start: Ronda, Malaga, Spain

The rides starts from the Puente Neuvo, a picturesque bridge that spans a deep gorge dividing the village of Ronda. The ride out of town is on the A-367 for approximately 25km and is moderately busy. The ride then descends towards Serrato one of the white villages (Pueblos Blancos) of Andalucia. There is an opportunity to make a side excursion to the village otherwise, the ride skirts around the village and undulates through olive trees to reach El Burgo. There are a couple of bars/cafes that you can visit for food or coffee. The ride heads south-west away from the village and passes through olive trees farms before starting the ascent to the Puerto del Viento (1090m). This section of the ride takes you into the Sierra de las Nieves and the scenery is spectacular with wonderful rocky outcrops and rugged landscape. In addition, there are few cars on these roads. The final kilometres are all downhill as you return to Ronda.
